About
Hello, I’m Sonja Haller and I’m a professional copywriter living in Phoenix, Az. who works with change agents – life and business coaches, spiritual practitioners, and health and wellness professionals.
What do I do?
I help you gain more business and more clients by writing and collaborating with you on Website copy, blogs, ghostwriting, press releases and e-newsletters. This gives you more time to focus on what you do best.
Why do I do it?
It’s my superpower. Mining the who/what/how & why of what you do in order to shine it and show it off is simply fun for me.
Telling stories and working with the people who help others live a healthier, more prosperous and peaceful life represents my perfect union of knowledge and skill.
- I started writing stories at age 7 with the debut of “Mrs. Goggles” who lived under the sea. I knew then I wanted to be a writer.
- My mother was a yoga instructor, healer and energy worker before those were words tossed around the water cooler.
- I’ve been a patient and proponent of complementary medicines such as acupuncture and chi gong for chronic pain.
- While my friends were reading The Baby-Sitters Club series in junior high, I was reading Be Here Now by Ram Das. (No one wanted to be in my book club.)
- While in newspapers, I created the life management beat that incorporated topics on self-help, spirituality, organization, holistic health, discovering your purpose and money management.
Why am I qualified?
I’ve been a writer and editor for major newspapers including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and The Arizona Republic for 25 years. During that time, I have interviewed the world’s top self improvement and spiritual minds including Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer and Martha Beck.
I’ve written on fasting, visions boards, creating a life plan, holistic methods of handling anger, and the importance of breathing right. I realized I had a knack for taking spiritual and esoteric topics and making them accessible to everyday people.
I also realized I love working with people who strive to raise consciousness, improve others’ health, and ease suffering. It’s possible to attract an audience so your business is successful while staying true to your soul’s purpose. It would be an honor to help you.
Anything else I should know?
I’m married, have three girls, and meditate every day. I’m working on becoming a certified meditation instructor through The Chopra Center. Check out my blog on meditation at {The Link Here}.
I’m a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in journalism.
I’m certified in Feng Shui.
And it’s embarrassing to say, but I’ve followed the goings-on of the Young & the Restless for 35 years. It’s a vice I’m not willing to give up.
I make pancakes every Sunday. Sometimes with blueberries. Sometimes with chocolate chips. But always with the secret ingredient my Sedona, Az. woo-woo mom suggested: love.
